PEOPLE AT ECE
Foster Potential, Strengthen Diversity
The people at ECE are the foundation of our success. With their diverse experiences, perspectives, and skills, they shape the future of our company. That is why we promote equal opportunity, inclusion, and individual development; create space for people to realize their potential; and make targeted investments in young talent.
TALENT FOR THE FUTURE
The promotion and development of young talent is a central component of our human resources strategy. Through our apprenticeship and trainee programs, we offer young professionals a wide range of opportunities for development and networking. Initiatives such as the annual Young Talents Camp, networking events for apprentices, and continuing education programs for apprenticeship supervisors strengthen personal skills, knowledge transfer, and cross-departmental exchange.
In addition, we support young talent through partnerships with universities such as the Frankfurt School of Management & Finance, HSBA, HAWK, IREBS, and HafenCity University. Through these collaborations and networking initiatives, we foster exchange between academia and the professional world and create early opportunities for students to engage with the business community.

A PRACTICAL START TO YOUR CAREER
Our dual degree programs in Business Administration and Business Information Systems, as well as our trainee programs, bring theory to life through hands-on experience. One standout opportunity is our Real Estate Management trainee program: Through rotations in the areas of center management, asset management, and leasing, our trainees gain comprehensive insights into shopping center management. The subsequent specialization specifically prepares them for specialized and leadership roles within the company.
DIVERSITY AS A FACTOR IN SUCCESS
Diversity is a key success factor for ECE. Different perspectives, experiences, and skills foster innovation, collaboration, and future viability. That is why we promote a corporate culture that enables participation, values diversity, and incorporates international and intercultural perspectives.
Our Diversity Board guides the strategic direction of our activities. Key priorities include advancing women into leadership positions—with the goal of achieving a 40% representation of women by 2030—as well as actively shaping generational transition and strengthening our intercultural competence.
ACTIVELY PROMOTING HEALTH
Health and well-being are a top priority at ECE. Through programs such as “Our Sports Field,” fitness discounts, JobRad, the Activity Challenge, and health days, we promote physical activity, preventive care, and social interaction. An annual employee survey also helps us systematically measure and specifically promote employee satisfaction and well-being.
STRENGTHENING SKILLS FOR THE FUTURE
Our ECE Academy brings together flexible learning and development opportunities and supports the continuous development of our employees’ skills. In addition to a structured onboarding process, it offers a variety of formats designed to strengthen professional, digital, and personal skills. There is a particular focus on AI programs that foster future-oriented skills and the confident use of new technologies.
